Construction of hydraulic insulation of concrete and reinforced concrete structures with «Autocryn»® materials

Construction of the hydraulic insulation coating is to be performed by taking into account the requirements of the standard documents:

Design
SNiP 3.04.01-98 «Insulating and decorative coatings»
Typical process chart TK 26/05/01-2000 «Construction of the hydraulic insulation of the concrete surface with «Autocryn» mastic.
Existing rules of the labour protection and fire safety measures.

Construction of the hydraulic insulation coating with «Autocryn» materials foresees application of:

«Autocryn» primer TY RB 14511885.001-98,
«Autocryn» mastic TY RB 14511885.001-98,
reinforcing materials — polyester cloth for roofing and hydraulic insulation materials TY RB 00204079.146-97 or glass reinforced mesh ССШ-160 TY RB 05780349.017-97.

The solution options of the hydraulic insulation of buildings and structures are shown in table 1.

The process of hydraulic insulating coating formation includes the following stages:

surface preparation
priming
construction of the intermediate mastic layer
construction of the reinforcing layer
construction of the protecting mastic layer

1. Surface preparation.
The protected surfaces are to be prepared in accordance with the requirements of:

SNiP 3.04.01-98 «Insulating and decorative coatings»
Process chart TK 26/05/33-2000 «Construction of the hydraulic insulation of the concrete surface with «Autocryn» mastic

2. Priming.
«Autocryn» primer is to be applied by means of painting tools, the air or airless spraying.

Material consumption — 0.8 kg/m²
• Time of drying at ambient temperature 15-20 °C — 3.0-6.0 hours.

3. Construction of the intermediate mastic layer.
«Autocryn» mastic intermediate layer is to be applied by means of painting tools, the air or airless spraying.

Material consumption for 1 sublayer — 0.8 kg/m2
Time of drying before placement of the reinforcing layer at ambient temperature 15-20 °C — 8.0-12.0 hours
The number of the sublayers to be applied is to be determined in accordance with the design documentation

4 . Construction of the reinforcing layer
The reinforcing material is to be placed overlapped by 100-120 mm and rolled so that there shall be no bulges and waves on the surface.
Drying time before application of the protecting mastic layer at ambient temperature 15-20 °C — 8.0-12.0 hours

5.5. Construction of the protecting mastic layer
«Autocryn» mastic protecting layer is to be applied by means of painting tools.

Material consumption for 1 sublayer — 0.8 kg/m².
ime of drying before placement of the reinforcing layer at ambient temperature 15-20 °C — 8.0-12.0 hours.

Quantity of the applied sublayers is to be determined in accordance with the design documentation.
The total consumption of the mastic may constitute from 3.2 to 4.2 kg/m²
