Construction of the double-layer mastic reinforced roof along with application of «Autocryn»® materials

Construction of the mastic roofing coating is to be performed by taking into account the requirements of the standard documents:

Construction of the mastic roofing coating with «Autocryn» materials foresees application of:

«Autocryn» primer TY RB 14511885.001-98,
«Autocryn» mastic TY RB 14511885.001-98,
reinforcing materials — polyester needle punched cloth for roofing and hydraulic insulation materials TY RB 00204079.146-97 or glass reinforced mesh ССШ-160 TY RB 05780349.017-97.
Dustless gravel of light tints of fraction 5-10 mm and having frost resistance at least F100.

The process of the mastic roof coating formation includes the following stages:

surface preparation
priming
construction of the first mastic layer
construction of the first reinforcing layer
construction of the second mastic layer
construction of the second reinforcing material
construction of the third mastic layer
construction of protecting gravel layer

1. Surface preparation.
The protected surfaces are to be prepared in accordance with the requirements of:

SNiP 3.04.01-98 «Insulating and decorative coatings»

2. Priming.
«Autocryn» primer is to be applied by means of painting tools, the air or airless spraying.

Material consumption — 0.8 kg/m²
Time of drying at ambient temperature 15-20°C — 3.0-6.0 hours.

3. Construction of the first mastic layer.
Construction of the first mastic layer is to be performed by means of application of 2 sublayers of «Autocryn» mastic with the aid of painting tools, the air or airless spraying

Material consumption for 1 sublayer — - 0.8 kg/m²
Number of sublayers — 2.
Time of sublayer drying at ambient temperature 15-20 °C — 8.0-12.0 hours

4. Placement of the first layer of the reinforcing material.

The reinforcing material is to be placed overlapped (by 100 mm in the longitudinal direction, 500 mm in the transverse direction) and rolled with a painting roller so that there shall be no bulges and waves on the surface.

5. Construction of the second mastic layer.
The second mastic layer is to be placed by applying 2 sublayers of «Autocryn» mastic with the aid of painting tools, the air or airless spraying.

Material consumption for the 1st sublayer — - 1.6 kg/m²
Time of the 1st sublayer drying at ambient temperature 15-20 °C — 48 hours
Material consumption for the 2nd sublayer — - 0.8 kg/m²
Time of 1 sublayer drying at ambient temperature 15-20 °C — 1-1.5 hours

6. Placement of the second layer of the reinforcing material.

7. Construction of the third mastic layer.
The second mastic layer is to be placed by applying 2 sublayers of «Autocryn» mastic with the aid of painting tools, the air or airless spraying.

Material consumption for the 1st sublayer — - 1.6 kg/m²
Time of the 1st sublayer drying at ambient temperature 15-20 °C — 48 hours
Material consumption for the 2nd sublayer — - 0.8 kg/m²
Time of 1 sublayer drying at ambient temperature 15-20 °C — 8-12 hours

8. Construction of the protecting gravel layer.
The protecting layer is to be constructed by using the dustless gravel of light tints of fraction 5-10 mm having frost resistance at least F100 and «Autocryn» mastic.
«Autocryn» mastic is to be poured by means of a bucket onto the surface of the ready made mastic roof and leveled with the aid of the wooden bar. The fresh mastic layer is to be covered with the prepared gravel by uniformly distributing it on the roof surface.

Mastic consumption — 1.5-2.0 kg/m²
Gravel layer thickness — 10-15 mm
Time of drying at ambient temperature 15-20 °C — 48 hours
